Speculative Design, Animation and Performance Art.

A performative and comical moving image installation alluding to the difficulties in communicating the effects of climate change. Inspired by the style of old educational documentaries which appropriated the rhythm and aged aesthetics of these films. 

The comical perspective came from the serious suggestion, by scientific academics, that genetically modifying humans can reduce climate change. Set within an alternative dystopian and speculative reality, the plot of the documentary and recruitment tape explains the process of using genetic modification to reduce climate change.
